Finally, a canopy

After nearly a year of thinking about it, we finally have a canopy fitted to the stern of Brandy Pad.

Looking good

We had the frame fitted a couple of weeks ago, and today Karl from Titan Canopies brought the canopy itself and fitted us for it. We won’t usually travel with it up as it would be likely to collide with bridges and trees on canals, but on rivers there is generally more room. We will be able to travel with some protection from the elements then. Meanwhile, inside it is like having another room at the stern!
