So, they said, on our maps, that the Pocklington Canal might be “a bit weedy”. Well, they were right:

Weed, weed and more weed
And still more…

We had to stop three times in the space of 5 miles to clear the propellor. The water, however, is beautifully clear and you can see loads of fish. Still, it beats breaking ice!
