We took advantage of the sunny weather of the last couple of days (which we hope you were also enjoying) to do some “boatwork”.  In the nearly five months since we moved onto Brandy Pad, the weather conditions really haven’t been good enough to clean the exterior.  There also wasn’t much point because of the mud.  So over two days the exterior paintwork has been totally washed down and polished.   I have also had the chance to use some T-Cut on a rather nasty scratch down the starboard side – collected from a downed tree after the recent storms.  Good stuff T-Cut, especially the coloured version.  Scratches are now completely invisible and I think you will agree the boat looks rather splendid:

BP looking resplendent in the Spring sunshine

In fact, we get constant compliments on about how good our boat looks, not just here in Ellesmere where we cleaned her, but everywhere we go.

Helen was busy inside, cleaning, vacuuming and catching up on the washing while I washed and polished.  Such a lovely day yesterday also meant we finally had a chance to get the table out at the stern and sit in the sun enjoying a cuppa:

Sunny afternoon at the stern
