In Liverpool Docks

We recently returned to Liverpool Docks for a few days as we wanted to visit more of the sights. Sadly, the weather on the way in this time was pretty atrocious, with heavy rain. The journey was still fun though, not least because our friends Rob and Susan were with us and enjoying this particular trip for the first time.

The weather did improve however, so we were able to take another photo of Brandy Pad moored up on the pontoon. The first one was taken on our previous visit in June:

This one was taken on our recent visit, in august

Can’t see a barbeque? Haven’t been able to go anywhere without the smell of burning meat for the last few days!!

We do see quite a lot of them in back gardens as we travel – or should I say “smell them”?
