The Severn Estuary, part 1.

We finally managed to make the trip down the tidal Severn Estuary to Bristol. The trip took around 5 hours in total and although we recorded the whole journey, we clearly could not post such a long video – and you would not want to watch it if we did!

It was not practical to edit it down while we were on the boat, but now that we are once more ashore, I have been able to complete the task.  This first video is a record of the leg from Sharpness to Portishead. Soon, I will  post the second video of the journey from Portishead up into Bristol itself. For now though, you can share some of the experience with us:
