Out of the water again

Brandy Pad has now been in the water for just over a year. Although it could be in the water for several more years before needing to come out for repainting, our builders very kindly agreed to take it to their yard for some remedial work and touching up of the paintwork. We discovered, the hard way, that the grey colour around the gunwales shows up the scratches rather more then we had anticipated and as the area is normally below the bank level it is difficult to get at when in the water .

Wednesday 15th November saw the boat being hauled onto a low loader and setting off back to Bluewater Boats for a short visit and spruce up. Click on the photo to see a video of it coming out of the water:
