And now the main steelwork is done. Helen gets to see our new home for the first time and I get to check the Taffrail is actually strong enough for me to sit on. The cross braces are gone and the inside is just a big, empty metal can at the moment, but my it looks big! Won’t seem that way once the inside is fitted out.
The next step is the boat is taken out of the steel workshop to the shot-blasting where all the steel is burnished down to bare so that primer can be applied, and I guess the two-pack finish will be applied to the hull. As ever, click on the photos to see a larger version.
